High-Magnification Applied Ergonomics. Endodontics and Ultrasonic Guidelines in Basic and Complex Endodontics.
Juan Carlos Ortiz Hugues DDS CEAS II AEP
REVISED SCHEDULE
Modality: Lecture, Demo and Hands-On
Duration: One-Day
Description
Endodontics is one of dentistry's most challenging and physically and mentally demanding disciplines. Its visual requirements and precision skills demand high magnification, preferably with the dental microscope or high magnification loupes, which is a mandatory learning requirement during dental specialties education.
By learning how to use high magnification with ergonomic guidelines, the dentist can increase the manual dexterity skills needed to obtain quality endodontic treatments while maintaining a neutral posture and motion economics in four-handed dentistry practice, guaranteeing efficiency and comfort during the procedure.
The ultrasonic scaler and the variety of tips in the market are the perfect marriage when working in high magnification due to the synergies between the visual magnification and the controlled selective wear of the inner structures of the tooth, minimizing damage and controlling motions.
Microsonics expresses the synergies between high magnification and ultrasonic. With practical and simplified techniques guided by endodontic principles, the practitioner can easily handle basic and advanced endodontics in the office with MicroSonic techniques.
During this course, dentists will be able to:
· Proficiently manage the use of the dental microscope for both basic and complex endodontics.
· Apply advanced ergonomic principles and endodontic guidelines to achieve predictable outcomes.
· Follow simplified endodontic protocols using a systematic approach.
· Utilize ultrasonic tips for efficient, precise, and controlled endodontics, enhanced by high magnification.
· Address endodontic challenges such as root canal obstructions, file retrieval techniques, and locating the MB2 canal.
· Practice efficient and stress-free dentistry with an ergonomic-centered approach.
